Eventually I thought of snapping some nice food photos..but nevermind. I changed my mind. LOL well... only the curry mee and teh tarik was nice. Not much choices on food too. Roast beef, Satay, ikan bakar, bout 5 choices of salad, mussels (not fresh and tiny), spaghetti, 2 choices of soup (not warm),rice with a few dishes, yong tou foo, 3 choices of bread and curry mee. hmmm that's all I think. As for desserts, some malay pastries, ice-cream (half melted once u scooped it up),tau foo fah, lychee juice and some puddings.
Nice to see... not nice to eat
Compared to Eastin hotel where you can spend 12.30 to 5 pm eating there. This one we started at 12.15 and done by 2pm. haha... we just couldn't force ourselves to eat anymore. Should see our face expressions when we put the food into our mouth.haha... My boyfriend only enjoy drinking the teh tarik. So yah we came to the conclusion... never ever go for hi-tea in a not so well known hotel and if it's below rm40++. Pay more for better food. Serious. My rate is only 1/2/5 (half over 5) half for the teh tarik and curry mee. hmmm
Alright after that we drove over the street to Pavillion. My eyes went *blink blink* hohoho!! Shopping day at Pavillion on Wednesday with mom!! since mom wanna check that place out too. Some of the brands you can find them at 1U and MidValley though.Very big place I would say. Some said the prices there are more costly compared to other shopping complexes. I've yet to set my foot in any of the shops so I don't know. I was just walking around doing survey see what kind of shops do they have there. So yah shopping will only be on Wednesday with mom. *grins* can't wait!
Then later in the afternoon my dear was kind of craving for his coffee so we headed to Starbucks. It's an outdoor Starbucks where all the restaurants are located too. So we just sat there, read mag,and sight-seeing until his friend arrived. It was the opening day for their GSC and they had free screening.Unfortunately it's all the movies like Pirates Of the Caribbean, Transformers...etc.. We wanted to watch Hitman. So we left that place and headed to the food court area. I wanted to try the donuts from J.CO. Since everyone had been praising it, saying how yummy it tasted. My goodness! the queue! I guess I would have to wait for an hour to be my turn." So forget it I'll come again on Wednesday if the queue is not that bad." The food court..not bad. They have a variety of food. My tummy was still filled with drinks, so I tasted a little of their grilled fish, since the guys ordered it and I've been craving for grilled sting-ray since weeks ago. haha.. ok lar.. it's quite yummy. Very fat sting-ray. haha..meaty.
(oh pohz!!they're going to have the shop which sell seafood tempura in pyramid soon!)
I think it's Shihlin street snack.. they used to only have it at 1 Utama. *yummy*
